FAQs/About
What are Frites?
Fries. Have you been to a fritterie in Belgium? I highly recommend it.
What is Chocolat?
…euhm
Why Frites et Chocolat?
This is a very good question. We do not have a logical answer. We love food, we love fries and chocolate and beer. We love farm-fresh butter and raw milk, eggs and charcuterie; but we could not name a site, FritesChocolatBiereetCharcuterie.com, so we shortened it to FritesetChocolat.
Who are you?
We are a young, ambitious couple raising two children in what can only be described as the beginning of the Apocalypse.
Where are you?
We are about four miles out of the D.C. line in Bethesda, MD. Please don’t get all creepy and stalk us, unless you want to share in our gardening. By this I mean, pulling weeds, watering and cutting down tree stumps. You may want to come see our chickens. An email before stopping by would be nice and also non-stalkery.
Why are you doing this?
We have a passion and want to share it. Is that so wrong? Also, we just love the Internet so much.
Why don’t you allow comments?
Here is a little explanation on that.
How can I contact you?
You may contact me using this form, I would be happy to hear from you. Unless you have something awful to say, in which case, I would rather you keep it to yourself.
Can I follow you on Twitter or Google+?
You most certainly can and please do! Follow me @AngelicaBoiteux on Twitter and here on Google+.
WARNING: Do not expect my tweets and posts to be all unicorns and rainbows. It is a personal Twitter account, just like this is a personal website. The difference being, this website has a specific dialogue and my tweets, well, that’s all the rest of me.
I’d like to try some of your recipes, can I print or post them on my website?
Yes, please print any recipe you would like to try out. No, do not repost them to your website without proper attribution; that is just mean. You’re not a meanie, are you?
